My Favorite Makeup Cleanser: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

I first came across DHC Cleansing Oil as a sample in a catalog or magazine my mom got in the mail. This is circa 2005 when I was temporarily living with my parents. I fell in love instantly and I’ve used nothing else since. 

The cleanser is made with an organic olive oil, but is still water-soluble. The oil melts makeup and then rinses off clean under water: Eye makeup, foundation, sunscreen and all the layers underneath. 

I’m currently in brand/ingredient exploration mode and I was going to try something different, but I was on the fence. I went to Amazon just to see and when the gazillion 5 stars jumped out at me I decided.  I’ll try something new another time.

In the video, I didn’t mention that when using the cleansing oil you do not wet your hands or face first. Apply as is. It doesn’t work the same when wet.
